Prefatory Note
This volume examines fundamental questions concerning the origin of religion and the distinctive status of Islam among the world’s religions. It systematically engages with atheistic claims about the emergence of religious belief, tracing the development of monotheism and addressing common misconceptions regarding the nature and origins of various religions. Special attention is given to demonstrating the truth of Islam through prophecies concerning Prophet Muḥammad (PBUH) found within the Scriptures of the People of the Book (i.e., the Torah and the Bible). In addition, the volume offers a detailed exploration of the scientific miraculousness of the Holy Qurʾān, highlighting its unique and enduring relevance in light of contemporary discoveries. It concludes with a discussion of the ultimate proofs affirming the truth of Islam, including the Prophetic miracles that set it apart. Drawing on both classical Islamic scholarship and modern discourse, this work provides readers with rigorous intellectual tools to engage critically with atheistic skepticism and to appreciate the profound truthfulness of the Islamic message.
