Is there any evidence in the Bible indicating that the Message (Prophethood) was removed from the Israelites due to their corruption and transferred to the Arabs?
Jesus (PBUH) conveyed a lesson through the Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers in the Gospel of Matthew, saying: “21 33Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it, and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey. 34When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit. 35The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third. 36Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way. 37Last of all, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said. 38But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’ 39So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. 40Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” (Matthew 21:33-40).

Jesus (PBUH) set forth the Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers, presenting a similitude between Allāh, Exalted is He, who entrusted the Children of Israel with land and resources to obey Him and fulfill His will, and a landowner who rented his vineyard to tenants while he was away at the time of the harvest. Just as the tenants in the parable mistreated and killed the servants and eventually the son sent by the landowner, the Children of Israel had transgressed, violated the Book of Allāh, failed to follow divine guidance, and sunk into degeneracy. Allāh says: {But here you are, killing each other and expelling some of your people from their homes, aiding one another in sin and aggression; and when those ˹expelled˺ come to you as captives, you still ransom them—though expelling them was unlawful for you} (Qurʾān 2:85). What, then, would be the consequence of the corruption, transgression, and tyranny of the Children of Israel? The following verses collectively answer the question, illustrating the tragic end that befalls a people when they spurn divine guidance:
“21 40 “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” 41 “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time.” 42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: “‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? 43 “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. 44 Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.” 45 When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus’ parables, they knew he was talking about them.” (Matthew 21:40-45).

“Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” Analogously, what will happen to the Jews who flagrantly failed to follow the guidance entrusted to them, failed to uphold the leadership position in which they had been placed, and did not wish goodness to flourish? “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time” Pay particular attention to the statement, “he will rent the vineyard to other tenants.” Likewise, the righteous servants of Allāh shall inherit the kingdom of Allāh; that is, the divine Message and the Law will be taken away from the Jews and given to another pious nation. Jesus further said: “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes?’” Who is prophesied as “the stone the builders rejected” and who has “become the capstone”? Jesus is heralding the Prophet who will appear among another nation, who will be rejected by the Children of Israel, yet will become the capstone. This biblical verse closely aligns with an authentic Prophetic tradition narrated in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, in which the Prophet (PBUH) said: “My similitude in comparison with the other Prophets before me is that of a man who has built a house nicely and beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. The people go about it and wonder at its beauty, but say: “Would that this brick be put in its place! So I am that brick, and I am the last of the Prophets.”1

Indeed, Muḥammad (PBUH) is the brick missing in the corner of the house in the Prophetic tradition and the stone that has become the capstone in the biblical verse—the last of the Prophets. According to the Book of Matthew, the chief priests and Pharisees recognized that Jesus (PBUH) was speaking about them: “When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus’ parables, they knew he was talking about them” (Matthew 21:45).
